Responsive Grants – How to Apply
Grants awarded through the Responsive Grants Program support and complement Community Memorial Foundation’s (CMF) mission to measurably improve the health of people who live and work in the western suburbs of Chicago, and its vision of a healthy community in which all persons – regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, creed, age, national origin, means or background – have access to coordinated health and human services necessary for a healthy life.
The Responsive Grants Program includes:
Before completing an application, it is important to review CMF’s Policies and Guidelines and focus areas. Grants are given to organizations located within the CMF’s geographic target area or serving a significant documented percentage of the local population in the communities of:

CMF accepts unsolicited applications for its Responsive Grants Program twice a year. The deadlines are 5:00 PM on March 31 and 5:00 PM on September 30. If these dates fall on a weekend, the deadline will be 5:00 PM the following Monday.
