Grants are awarded to organizations serving a significant number of people from Community Memorial Foundation’s geographic focus area. Grantee organizations partner with the Foundation to promote and foster health and well being throughout the 27 community target area.
2011 Building Organizational Effectiveness (BOE) Grants:
The following organizations received grants under BOE (including grants for technical assistance, Taproot Foundation, Management Association of Illinois sponsored memberships, and executive coaching): Access DuPage, Aging Care Connections, Alivio Medical Center, Arab American Family Services, BEDS Plus, Bridge Communities, Campaign for Better Health Care, CEP Youth Leadership, Community House, Community Nurse Health Association, Community Support Services, DuPage Community Clinic, DuPage PADS, Family Shelter Service, Hamdard Center for Health & Human Services, Metropolitan Family Services DuPage, NAMI of DuPage County, Oak Park and River Forest Infant Welfare Society, Pav YMCA, People’s Resource Center, Plymouth Place, Ray Graham Association, Robert Crown Center for Health Education, Sharing Connections Furniture Bank, Taproot Foundation, Wellness House, and Xilin Association.
2011 Health Care Access Grants:
The following agencies received grants under the Health Care Access Program: Access DuPage, DuPage Community Clinic, Community Nurse Health Association, Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, Pillars, and Suburban Primary Health Council.
